Gamemaster (Part-Time / Casual)

We’re looking to add another member to our team of Gamemasters!

Our Gamemasters are the heart of the experience. They are front-and-centre, ensuring every group that visits us has an exceptional and memorable escape room adventure.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

• Welcoming guests and engaging comfortably with groups of strangers while providing excellent customer service

• Briefing players on game rules and their scenario before the game begins

• Monitoring gameplay to ensure all guests are having a fun, safe, and positive experience

• Resetting rooms and preparing computers between groups

• Processing payments using our Square POS system

• Taking team photos after each game

• Performing light cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming
   

We’re looking for someone who is:

• Passionate about escape rooms

• A quick-thinking problem solver

• Friendly, outgoing, and comfortable interacting with new people, including children

• Able to multitask and stay organized

• Detail-oriented

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

• Able to work independently when needed

• A team player with strong communication skills

• Experience with theatre, acting, LARPing, and public speaking is considered an asset.

• Applicants who live in or near Steinbach will be given priority.
   

Position Details

• Part-time, casual position

• Availability on most weekends—especially Saturdays—is required

• 8–12 hours per week to start, with additional hours available during school breaks.

• Ideal for university or college students that are looking for flexible scheduling around school hours.
   

Our goal is to have the successful applicant trained by Spring Break (week of March 29), with regular weekend shifts (and occasional evenings) continuing as our team and business grow.
