Summer in the City has teamed up with The Puzzler Escape Rooms to bring you an Amazing Race experience you won't soon forget! Fun, fast, and absolutely FREE, this exciting new game is sure to keep you on your toes as you race against the clock (and other teams) to complete a series of amazing challenges.

How it Works
Imagine playing an escape room game, but instead of solving puzzles to escape a locked room, you're now outside and racing alongside other teams!
​
Your registered group will have your own start time, but that doesn't mean you'll have the course to yourselves - we'll be sending in a new team every 5 minutes. Although you'll be racing against the clock, you'll still earn that adrenaline rush as you strive to overtake other teams.

Just like an escape room, we estimate the race to take roughly an hour to complete.
STEP 1 - Register
This year, we're allowing for you to book your team online! Teams of 3-6 players only, and at least 1 person must be 16 years old or older.
You can also register your team directly with us at our tent on the day you want to race.

STEP 2 - Race!
Don't be late for your booking! We only have limited spots available.

You'll be given a quick briefing of race details and rules before you start, so that you all have a common understanding of the game's format.

Just like the TV show, you'll be given a clue-card to start your race. Make sure to read all your clues properly! There are real clue-boxes to find - but you may notice an Escape Room spin on this new version of the race!
STEP 3 - Photo Op!
Our staff will take a team photo of your team in front of our photo wall. We will forward this photo to your team captain's email address that we've collected before the race.

We'll also create a leaderboard and have it posted on our website and social media within 24 hours of the end of the race!


Water Bottle
This is a timed event, so it's up to you if you want to wait in line for lemonade, but we'd recommend bringing your own water bottle, you'll be running (or moving as quickly as you can) and you're going to want to stay hydrated!
Phone
Someone on your team should have a phone with them. It will be handy to take notes, pictures, and possibly to help if you get stuck or lost.
Shoes
We recommend a good set of running shoes, however, there are no rules regarding footwear. Wear what's most comfortable for you.
As Little Else as Possible
We do not provide a locker to store your extra items, you'll have to take everything with you--so plan ahead and either stash your goods in your car before coming, or have a bag you are willing to carry everything around in.

1. How much does it cost to register a team?
Nothing! It's absolutely free!

2. Are there age-restrictions?
No, you can run together as a family and have young ones tag along. However, at least one member of your team must be 16 years old or older

3. Can I pre-register?
Yes! We are accepting pre-registrations as early as June 1st.

Our registration tent is close to Giant Tiger. We'll be easy to spot with our extra large sign!

5. I have 7 people that would like to form a team. Is this allowed?
No, we are only allowing teams of 3-6 players. We recommend splitting up in 2 separate groups.

6. Where can I access our team photo?
Ask our staff how you can get a copy of your team photo after your race.
​
7. Do you have lockers?
Unfortunately, we don't have lockers available, so you'll have to take everything you have with you on your race, so plan ahead!
